Which cuisine or style of food do you want to feature?

Regardless of the cuisine or style of food, the main requirement is that it must be in line with our food ethos. We are open to most cuisines and cooking styles, as long as they are appreciated and in demand in the local community where you wish to offer them.

Which ethnic cuisines are you most interested in?

Ethnic cuisine selection is determined based on what works in each neighborhood. In general, we are interested in all ethnic cuisines, including Asian, American, Mediterranean, Mexican… the list goes on. Chefs are expected to be masters of the cuisine they wish to offer in our food halls.


Do you provide training, similar to what franchisors give?

A franchisor provides training to teach you how to do things their way. We, on the other hand, embrace your innovative cooking and unique kitchen management style.

Our skilled team directly handles other areas like POS transactions, marketing, delivery management, customer support and so on, so you can focus on what you do best. As such, our training is limited to regulatory compliance and other mandatory issues. We also participate and lead motivational talks, as well as problem-solving sessions.

Do you charge a fixed monthly fee?

There are no fixed monthly fees. Our model is based on shared risk and reward. We earn a percentage on all sales, so our success is tied to yours.

What percentage do you take for your services and support?

Specifics are disclosed to potential chefs during our discussions. The margins are structured in a way that makes financial sense to everyone.

What can I expect in terms of sales numbers and profits?

Sales figures can vary greatly, and it’s not possible for us to make such estimates. As such, it is our policy to avoid making any financial promises or giving any information regarding actual or potential sales.

Why should I order only from your approved vendors?

All chefs are required to order from our approved suppliers to ensure the best quality, consistency and maximum savings.


What are the preferred criteria for the perfect chef?

Chefs must possess the culinary skills, passion and drive necessary for success and meet our definition of a real chef. Who We’re Looking to Work With

As with applications for employment, we consider all inquiries equally without consideration to race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, sex, ancestry, citizenship status, mental or physical disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, veteran status, military service or any other similar non-related aspect.

How many staff do chefs hire to build their teams?

The size of each team depends on many variables like cooking requirements, menu, sales volume and the chef’s own management style. Since POS transactions, delivery management and order pickup are all handled directly by us, this allows chefs to operate efficiently with fewer staff.


Are there general guidelines that everyone must follow?

While chefs have substantial freedom to manage their kitchens as they see fit, we have established a set of policies and guidelines that govern how we do things, and everyone is expected to respect them. There are also government-imposed rules, guidelines, laws and by-laws that everyone must follow.


How much is the membership fee?

The membership fee will be discussed with the right chef. There’s also a refundable service retainer that varies based on the kitchen type and equipment used.

What are the other expenses?

As an experienced chef, you are expected to efficiently manage your own expenses, such as your food costs and your staff salaries.

Are chefs charged a monthly rent?

Absolutely not. We do not lease any part of our spaces. Members never pay lease or any fixed monthly fees!

Chefs compensate us with a percentage of their sales. This way, we win when they win.


Am I responsible for licensing the retail locations?

Not at all. We are responsible for obtaining the required licenses and approvals. Our team is amply equipped to handle the design, construction and licensing of our spaces from A to Z.


Are contracts long-term?

We avoid multi-year contracts that place heavy burdens and tight restrictions on our members. For this reason, we use flexible-term contracts that offer you stability, as well as room to breathe and flexibility of choice down the road.

The standard term is one year, which can be extended infinite times with the approval of both parties without additional cost to the chefs.


Is my application confidential?

You bet! Rest assured, we take confidentiality very seriously and will treat all applications received in accordance with our privacy policy.
