At chefhyve, our food ethos describes our promise to you and to ourselves. It serves as our guiding compass when making conscious choices about the food we serve, where it comes from and how it’s prepared.

WE DEFY THE THE NORM

We embrace adventure and relish the exciting idea that food should have a unique taste in every kitchen. We free chefs from the mundane routine and hand them the freedom that lets their culinary imagination soar. We feature unique menus in each food hall, so no two experiences are identical.

We reject the “globalization” of the kitchen, where meals taste exactly the same everywhere and a single menu is repeated in every location. We also reject centralized operations, where food is prepared in a far off factory and distributed to all branches. We defied the norm and rebelled against what the food business has become and set out to create our own model.

We are blessed to live on the only readily habitable planet in the known universe, but we are also faced with a challenge to grow and advance and prosper in a world with a delicate biosphere and limited natural resources.

FROM SCRATCH

Whole veggies, whole fruits, whole grains and fresh meats are delivered directly to our chefs to guarantee your food is prepared fresh, in house from scratch.

TRANSPARENCY

The ingredient sources are clearly listed on chalkboards on the wall, and all our food is prepared in an open kitchen right before your eyes. We don’t believe in secret recipes supposedly passed down through generations or proprietary formulas engineered in labs. Everything we do is as clear to you as it is to us, because real food should never be a mystery.

LOCAL SOURCING

Small farmers make up the delicate backbone of our planet. We source from dedicated local farmers and suppliers whose responsible practices bring out the best dishes for every season. In doing so, our menu constantly changes based on what’s in season locally.

SUSTAINABILITY

Everything we do is anchored in sustainable practices. From the food we serve to our store design and waste management, everything we do helps everyone share our wonderful planet.

ANIMAL KINDNESS

The way an animal is raised and treated is just as important as the way that plants are grown. In our journey to create amazing dishes, we meticulously review the welfare of animals living in our suppliers’ farms and ensure that the highest standards in humane treatment and sustainability are met.
